Sunday, April 19, 2009Video: Secret Solo + BlooperCutting a solo take for a secret project. At the end is an amusing outtake (stripped a strap button screw, nothing a glob of epoxy couldn't fix, LOL). For the record, the strap I'm using is one of my own creations (the Rune Strap). It certainly help up its end of the bargain... it was even still holding the strap button :) Wednesday, April 15, 2009Temple Now Available at CD Baby!
I'm happy to announce that my debut album, Temple of Unmanifest Dreams, is now available on CD at CDBaby.com! Digital distribution (MP3s) are currently awaiting activation but should become available within the next few days (if you can't wait, you can go get them now at SoundClick.com).
For those who already have the album or singles (thanks!), it would honor me to have your reviews! You can also leave them on my official website. Thanks to everyone for your support!

Thursday, February 26, 2009To My Followers...
Apologies as I have removed the Follow widget from my blog in light of the recent (and quite obvious) changes made to it. Like Steph initially opted, I too was going to give it some time for them to realize the err of their ways before removing it. But, I have gone to the ropes with Google before over similar matters, recalling last year when they silently issued a drastic and horribly dumbed-down up(down?)grade to the image search page. It took a lot of us (developers mostly) badgering them incessantly and stating the numbers before they finally relented. For that, specifically, it was worthwhile. For a little widget, not so much. So, sorry to you for the inconvenience, and hopefully with enough other people tossing the widget a lesson learned for the Blogger devs.

Tuesday, February 3, 2009Monday, February 2, 2009I'd hoped for thisSaturday, January 17, 2009New Music and Audio Player Upgrades
I made several upgrades to the audio player and have added 2 more playlists and a ton of additional tracks. Here's what's new...
Audio Player upgrades:
New Playlists:
New Tracks: Most of these tracks have been released on earlier versions of my website, but there are 3 that have never been released until now! Those tracks are:
They're each in the "Various Music" playlist. But if you're a newer visitor, there are likely many more "new" tracks for you to check out.

Sunday, December 21, 2008mahjong anyone?just a little side project this weekend. you can download the game/source here. I have another version of the game authored by someone else but didn't like having to go into the options to turn off the sounds every time, so I wrote my own version. This does have a sound, though it only plays at the end of the game. The tiles are not standard mahjong designs, rather I just threw my own together real quick. The timer is only there because I usually play the game while cooking a pizza and it helps me keep track of, well, time. I've included the .fla and .as file with the zip so you can do your own mods if you want (authored in Flash Pro 8) or just examine the source (it's not the most optimized, this was just a quick project). If you just want to play the game, double click the .swf file.

Just to note, the Looney Tunes TV widget is gone. They're planning (or have already begun) to include ads in the feed so they've been nixed. At least they were nice enough to warn us a couple weeks in advance. Too bad, but it was nice to reconnect with my childhood for a few hours.
Anyway, I replaced the widget with my own, my random chord progression generator. Ok, it's not technically a widget but you can grab it if you want, just ask if you need help adding it to your blogger template.

Thursday, December 11, 2008Hopefully, pleasant dreams
The last few days I've been toiling over various projects, seldom falling inline with my usual routine of checking my favorite sites every 5 minutes while I wait for inspiration to strike. Instead I've found myself totally forgetting until bedtime that I haven't checked my MySpace or Facebook pages since I woke up. I don't even think I've been in contact with a single soul in nearly a week. It's a wierd feeling... falling out of my routine.
The past week feels like a delirium, like all I have done for endless days is stare at wires and solder, leather and thread, mess and pile. Quite frankly, because I have. And all night (morning to you surface-dwellers), I toss and turn, embroiled in dreams of equal toil and delirium. I'm seldom one to ever get a "good night's sleep" though, regardless of circumstance. I never wake rested and ready to take on the day. My nights are just unconscious continuations of my day. Well, here are a couple pics of a couple of things I've been up to lately. There is soooooo much more behinds the scenes of these two items, and it is that in which I've been so enthralled. ![]() The prototype strap for Batch II ![]() A new audio switch for the studio Oh... and a new audio player for the website! can't believe I forgot about that after all the mind-numbing work I did on it.

Saturday, November 22, 2008Hello, ol' friend!
I've been having a great time getting reacquainted with Photoshop and graphic design lately. Started working on a new music project and when it came time for a logo and myspace profile design, I looked up some photoshop tutorials (not because I need them, but because I wanted some new ideas). I only looked up some 3D text tuts, but those sparked my creativity and ingenuity to experiment in other ways. This got me back into graphics like I haven't experienced in many years, where I've been manically spending several hours straight in photoshop while the rest of the world dissapears into oblivion (I haven't really missed much, lol). But now it's time to get back to the project's music and hope it lives up to the image I've created for it. I think it will, though ;)

Wednesday, November 12, 2008w00t! Leather Day has arrived.
Got the 2 pigsuede hides in today and am now ready to start the next batch of straps.
![]() The two hides (the yellower leather in the pic) came in the same color, you might call it a camel or cornmeal color. To be honest, I was hoping to get a different color on each hide (maybe the trick is to order assorted colors on separate orders?). I can live with this, though, because I'd rather have two hides in a color like this, an earthtone which is easily usable, than two in some oddball color (like this rather horrid turquoise I've seen) that I'd have a harder time using. There's enough material here for maybe 7 straps, I can get well over a dozen if I order some additional middle-layer veg split. May do that since I need to order a couple other items anyway. But first, I'll design a prototype strap (since this is a different style from my last batch), that'll give me a much clearer idea of what I can get out of the rest of the leathers.

Sunday, November 9, 2008New Track: Continue...![]() I know it's my birthday, but instead I'll give you all a present... a new piece of music titled Continue... I wrote this piece back in 2006 --as a matter of fact it was 2 years ago this coming Friday. It's not the piece I mentioned in my previous post, actually it's not even one I planned to work on this weekend. It's been sitting on my hard drive this whole time because I had hopes of doing more with it. However, to date nothing has jumped out at me so I figured it must be done already... wrap it up and push it out before I do something to ruin it :) Click Here to listen
